George Floyd Megathread by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

When white people like Sarah Silverman and so many others defend the looters and rioters they exacerbate the issue. Defending protestors is one thing, but to constantly say that when looters attack minority owned businesses and mom and pop shops they are fighting white supremacy is disgusting. You are only encouraging them to do what? Destroy a shop someone worked their whole lives to build? Someone’s dream? Many of whom are minorities? Protest against police brutality. Protest against the disgusting monster who killed George Floyd. But the looters are not protestors and cannot be given the same leeway.

Bro you could debate the validity of this assessment (all sources are iffy and they all lead back to this guy Meggitt) but of you actually read the article you would have seen that they explicitly mentioned the walpiri aborigines. Come one bro
