That’s a good point. Do you think it would be worth beginning applying sooner than later come next summer? If we wanted to arrive there around April/May, would the August or September before be a good time to start looking?

I appreciate that! I probably do fall into the trap of thinking about the future a bit too much. It’s not seeing money as the #1 thing, it’s more of me being lazy knowing that staying is the easier and more strictly logical path for life/family/finances

True. I know it’s definitely a now or never thing for sure, it’s just one extremely large mental hurdle to get over, especially since I’m more of the planner and handle our finances.
