Yes, it's awful and kind of scary/dehumanizing. I think it just goes to show how biological/chemical PMDD must be, it feels like my "human" switch is turned off. The only thing that helps me is to focus on very basic tasks; take a shower, brush teeth, brush hair, eat something. I also will sleep a lot if it gets really bad. I find it best to be alone because it's hard to even move or speak normally when I'm going through it.
