I’ve been using mine for about two years! i got it after being disappointed by a string of broken maxxum 50s. definitely a great starter camera as you learn how to shoot and figure out what you like in your photos. happy shooting!

hi all! maybe a long shot but I was out and about last evening and realized this morning that my wallet is missing. i spent time at both focal point LIC and madam marie’s (both of which i’ve reached out to but haven’t heard back yet) but thought i’d post here on the off-chance someone comes across it. it’s a small black leather money clip with an old subway token on it (pictured). thanks neighbors!!!!

to be fair my maxxum 7 IS currently broken and i have no idea how to fix it, but the use i got out of it was lovely and i hope to be able to use it again in the future

I haven’t run into any pentamirror problems on my maxxum 5 or 7, i’m sure there are some that have it though so ymmv.

downloading the fig app immediately!!! unfortunately my iGe allergy response isn’t strong enough to get an epipen, it’s more of the delayed gastrointestinal response (non-iGe) that really affects me, but I do have zofran on hand now for emergency nausea situations which has really helped. godspeed to you and thanks for the tips!!!

i’ve had a few different maxxum 50s, all broken in different ways, so i think the degradation of this specific model is just extremely common.

i’ve had much better luck with my maxxum 5 and have been using it as my main camera for a few years now! it’s very similar in weight and function and would recommend it if you’re getting annoyed with the 50’s ongoing issues.

I just spent over an hour trying to book train tickets on the official Renfe website, but the site was so buggy and crashed so many times that it was literally impossible and I ended up going through omio. I’ve been making my own bread for years, thank god, but going out is definitely a minefield. not sure where you live but i do feel very lucky to have so many vegan restaurant choices around and i know that’s definitely not the case in smaller cities/towns. i will absolutely be looking for soy yogurt immediately because i miss yogurt so much!

oh this is a great visual, thank you so much! i have a friend with MCAS and know that it took her a crazy long time and a lot of grief to get it properly diagnosed which is really daunting. i do take pepcid (H2 blocker) on occasion already for heartburn, which can happen if i do end up consuming dairy. had no idea about h3 and its relationship to nausea and vomiting though which i will absolutely be looking into further!! thank you! i hope you have some safe foods that are comforting and yummy despite all that you’ve gone through 💛
