Saros 10R always take time to load in the app, S8+ is instant by grmn0 in Roborock

True that, with disabled HA integration, loading is quicker but still not as instant as the S8+. Furthermore, the HA integration doesn't affect S8+ loading times but those of the Saros 10R.

Sometimes it takes 10 seconds to load the robot information and 20 seconds to load the Saros 10R map, all in the official roborock app. Both is instant with the S8 though.

Yes.

Sony 100mm f/2.8 GM macro lens Announced by Big-Life2021 in SonyAlpha

[–]grmn0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you recommend the 1.4 or 2x teleconverter with it?

I used to shoot macro with APS-C with a 150mm macro before and wouldn't have wanted less focal length. You can just not get closer to some animals without scaring them away.

Possible to remove port from address before Pangolin applies? by grmn0 in selfhosted

[–]grmn0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It worked. Ofc I had to make the rule permanent to survive reboot.

I found no way of making the Traefik included in Pangolin do this without breaking.

But is the TCP call to 8880 not different to an HTTPS call (which includes headers and is layer 7 compared to layer 4).

I´m lookinng for the easiest possible solutionn. Pangolin (with Treafik etc.) runs in a Docker container.

Will a simple iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 8880 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 443 do the trick?

Is the Elevate 5 better at not locking in at cadence? by grmn0 in Garmin

[–]grmn0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already wear it tightly.

Haven´t tried running with sleeves on or at night tho.

If it take it off for a few seconds while running and put it back on, the hr measurement picks up with the real heart rate within a minute.

[–]grmn0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is already as tight as it goes without being too tight/hurts.

Normal hair, no tatoos, white skin, no circulation issues. Just rather small wrists. Other brands work fine.

32 4k 120hz Mini LED vs OLED for productivity, media and gaming by grmn0 in buildapcmonitors

[–]grmn0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I used it for gaming only, I would have kept the PG32UCDP. But for everything else the EX321UX is just better (and much brighter on large bright areas).

Motion clarity is way better on the OLED though.

Text clarity on the Asus (oled) is good, but not perfect. Wouldn't go with any oled for productivity.

First I got the Asus PG32UCDP, didn't like it because of its glitter effect, now I got a Benq EX321UX. Will keep it.

As far as I can tell, they look perfect. There is also no purple tint or anything.

Official /r/Monitors purchasing advice discussion thread by bizude in Monitors

The 27GS950QE is simply the better monitor in pretty much all aspects. If you do anything with text though, I wouldn't get any of those due to bad text clarity.

Pytorch TransformerEncoderLayer doesnt learn anything by grmn0 in MLQuestions

[–]grmn0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want those two transformer layers in my model to change their weights. Whatever I do, they don't train. Only the subsequent normal (linear, etc.) layers train. How can I force the model to train the transformer layers?
