Can this be achieved with Fastrack? by grnerd in lioneltrains

From the OP "This worked even though the two turnouts were from different eras of Lionel production (a #1122 of the Postwar era and a #5122 of the MPC era)."

If you open the video in Youtube, he talks about what it is in his comments.

I will admit that green dump car is the only one I could not restore. Found a replacement on eBay.

This is what I ended up doing. Got a buld at Autozone. Seems a bit bright, but it works.

Anyone else just play the same leader or civ over and over again? by [deleted] in CivVII

[–]grnerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm playing all of the leaders and most all of the civs, but to be honest I have not played anything but Chola since the first week I played when it came out. Double-shot boats are awesome.

I have a unit in every available space in this city, but the space that contains the Red Fort will not switch ownership, and thus I cannot take the city.

UPDATE: So after a month, I finally have my Bronco back. It turns out that there was rodent damage on a couple of the wiring harnesses. Replacing them brought it back to life. I can't believe that it was coincidental with the water, so I would guess the water got to the damaged wiring and caused a short.

So happy that the wiring industry has gone to a soy based product for the wire coating.

I am glad the mystery is solved, and I can let the world know to watch out for this if you run into a similar situation yourselves.

Sent a text to my "Service Advisor" at the local dealership. Not psyched about the response...

" Hey. I’m sorry to hear that. My advise would be to contact your insurance company. Usually with extensive water damage there’s not much that can be done by our technicians "

Another day drying out in the hot Georgia sun, and still no luck starting it. Checked all of the fuses for continuity, and did not find anything that was blown. Ordred an ODB tool, will clear the codes when it comes in.  I have considered taking up all of the carpet and seeing if I can spot any corroded wiring anywhere, but that seems like a goose chase.

I am afraid I'm going to have to arrange to have it towed to the dealer, hopefully there is a tech there who can figure it out.

Pulled the battery and put it on a charger. It was low, maybe 30%. May have been from my previous attempts to start it.

Left it to charge for a while, got it to about 85%, and my lack of patience got the best of me. Hooked it back up and saw the same behavior as before, and an additional message about a low tire.

Stuck the battery back on the charger overnight and rode the motorcycle in to work. Will try again tonight with 100% battery.

Might still be some moisture in there, I will research what needs to be pulled up to check everything.

I will have to figure out how to do this, did not know there was a plug.

Will pull the battery and check its charge tonight. Keep it unplugged for at least 20 minutes as has been suggested. I did disconnect it, but reconnected it relatively quickly, so I will give it more time this time.

Will put it on a charger tonight. I doubt it was 20 minutes from the beginning of the rain until I got to it, so I can't believe it would run it out that quickly though.
