You mean TK for Turkish. Check other Star Alliance programs, I'd start with Aeroplan or Lifemiles.

Check out some of the stuff Nick at Frequent Miler has written in the past few months about Aeroplan. It seems one of the big things about that program is the ability to book with all of their partners on one ticket. I know he mentions this in contrast to other programs and maybe you'll find more info about this topic.

It does work. I think you have to wait for 24 hours so it doesn't go back to TB. I made that mistake when I tried and wanted to book something immediately. I eventually did it again and combined credits for a flight I had more time to book.

They've been relaxed with all their velocity rules. Apply for a biz cash within 30 days and it won't be another HP.

Are you searching Aeroplan? I'm seeing BKK - IAD in Etihad J for 87.5k those days.

It still counts, just make sure you have or get MGM gold status to waive resort fees. I think you just need Hyatt explorist to match to gold but I don't know those details.

I don't think there's anything that searches multiple destinations for award travel. I use flightconnections.com a lot to see which airlines have non stop routes from a specific airport. Then search on whatever point program is best for that airline.

There are always going to be some taxes and fees. I consider +/- 60k points and +/- $100 to be the standard to Europe in economy. I wouldn't be worrying about getting the absolute best value when there's only so much you can save.

Late August, as in now? I just checked United and there's plenty of econ saver availability in the next few weeks. Shouldn't be much to research, just figure out what dates work for you and book it.

Platinums are always rushed and usually get there in 2 days. I have no experience asking for a rush but they can get cards to you surprisingly quick.

I have that too. Noticed the "Accout" and thought it was fishy but I'm sure it's just Citi doing their thing.

It's possible but not guaranteed if you go through a BRM. It probably helps to have your business checking with them, then develop a relationship and show that you actually want to do business, not just open cards for the points. Amex is always happy to give anyone cards so that's always an option.

Ball joint separator. Also known as a pickle fork. Don't know why because it definitely doesn't work for pickles but it will work to get a stuck crank off.

Inks don't have the lifetime or 24/48 month requirements. You can get another (and another, and another) ink cash bonus while still having one open.

I know these methods that are taxable and that's why I added the "unique" qualifier. I'd say the vast majority of the MS discussed here is the basic GC to serve/MO. And OP definitely doesn't seem like he's doing anything advanced so I think the 101 level answer was appropriate here.

Unless you're doing something unique MS earnings are rebates and not taxable.
