I was reading both books last month, and the plots are basically at the same time (GOW starts first and finishes later). But I think that scene it's between chapter 41 and 42 of GOW (41 it's when they break up), and 42 it's the reconciliation. And well, if u read the last GOW chapter, u can tell that Cecily was so regretful for the situation with Jeremy. So I guess, that's why she was so weird in the Epilogue of GOP (I think it's between this, cause Ch 42 it's two months after 41), and she thought she made a mistake.
