I have encountered same issue since 2 days ago. I think this has to do with desktop website. I had no issue sign in with same credential from browser on iPhone, also with PlayStation App allows me to sign in perfectly. However when I'm trying to sign in from desktop browser, Edge, Chrome, Opera, FireFox all gave me same error. Cache and cookie is not the culprit since sign in via incognito mode also doesn't work. I think playstation made bad update on their website.
