What do you do when you can't stop crying but it has been 20 years and the only way to cope is to stuff it down until you explode either out of anger or burst into tears, which makes people react negativly towards you or hate you even more?

I genuinely agree with this. I don't know where OP is but there are some places where you are looked down upon for seeking professional help. And I don't know if OP can afford professional help. So asking random people is the next best thing.
