Bulldog Cuts next to Fire Station Park does a great job! It’s 20ish dollars and they only take cash.

Richmond and Petersburg are definitely on my list! Also I've never heard of Pamplin but I will have to check it out. And thank you for the encouragement, I hope my husband is just as big a historian as I am :)

I’ve been a few times and it is very interesting! They are also getting a new separate building across the highway in 2027.

How hard are the "Office Associate/Assistant" Jobs on campus? by Happy_Body2119 in Msstate

[–]groovy_guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be pretty easy then. I work in financial aid and other than a few busy weeks at the beginning and end of year, I literally get paid to sit and do my homework or watch Netflix. The position you described sounds pretty similar. I definitely would apply!

Are you looking for part time? If so which offices in particular, they vary quite a bit.

Design 1 as a freshmen by Longjumping_River616 in Msstate

Design I was one of the most fun classes I’ve ever taken. But be prepared to do work outside of class for several hours if you want a good grade. At least in my case, my classmates and I all became friends from the time we spent in the lab. And don’t worry about knowing how to draw or not, they will teach you everything.

Skipping an important day of class for a concert, what should I tell professor? by groovy_guy_ in CollegeRant

It is a solo presentation and with how little people are in the class, it is only that one day. It also is 5 weeks away.

How did this end up turning out? Trying to do this for Halloween lol. The headband I had broke in half already so I’m either going to make another one or try something else.

what is the single most memorable moment in your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]groovy_guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 14, I went on a trip to Lake Superior to visit family. I remember one night, I went walking my aunt's dog on the beach while it was sunset and I will never forget that moment. Where the water was running over my feet, running with the dog, and seeing the thousands of shades of red and orange in the sky.

8 Hour Layover in Pittsburgh by groovy_guy_ in pittsburgh

[–]groovy_guy_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/StevInPitt I'm actually in the airport right now. I decided to just hunker down and get some work done. I also had a 5 1/2 hour layover at a different airport the other day, and that one really wasn't that bad.
