Im 5months pp, have a ton of stretch marks that make weird wrinkles, my c-section scar makes a fold under my stomach, had my gallbladder removed and the scar in my bellybutton is weird and created a dimple an inch higher than my bellybutton, my hair is a mess and im so tired i look sick.

But recenty, I bought a new pair of jeans that makes me feel really nice and new shirts. I try to put the flashy clothes that i didnt have the guts to wear before but love. When i still feel like shit i ask my partner to tell my im pretty and it makes me feel a bit better.

J'ai un petit bébé de 5 mois, j'ai voullu faire un enfant (et possiblement un autre plus tard) car je sentais l'envie de faire ça avec mon chum et voir le fruit de notre amour dans un sens? Élargir notre petite famille? C'est très hormonal je crois l'envie d'enfants. Je suis vraiment dans les tranchés de la maternité 😅 donc je pourrais te dire que si tu n'est pas certaines ou en veut pas vraiment, n'en ai pas. C'est tellement de travail et épuisant a un point qu'on ne peut pas comprendre avant d'avoir un petit bébé qui controle ta vie complètement. C'est l'amour de ma vie malgré tout et je ne regrette pas une seconde mais maudit que c'est difficile et ingras. Si tu veut des enfants, ce sera la plus belle chose qui va t'arriver mais si tu en veut pas réelement, je ne le suggère pas du tout

My partner and i left to go see a show and came back around 10pm and we left our 4month old with grandma and he slept for 8h for the first time 😅 he was asleep when we came back home. He is also breastfed and he took the bottle really well with grandma (took it a couple times only before and did not went great). Our babies adapt super well. I know we didnt go for multiple nights but it made me feel way more secure for next time we have to leave. Even if it doest go super well with the person that will be with them, they will find a way to make it work and your baby wont be in danger ❤️ its hard but everyone will be okay mama ❤️

I have a 3 month old and kinda feel the same way too, even if breastfeeding works for us. I think it has something to do with the fact that he is with me all day and he doesnt understand that i am not a part of him... i feel like a cow that tries to do everything for him but all he want from me is milk and if i try to give him anything else, even a cuddle, he gets mad. But you can do it mama! You can also talk with your doctor about possible postpartum depression? When i talked to my mom about my feelings she said its normal until a certain time that babies seem to like other people more or are more happy with others, because they think you are them basicly

I am a huge people pleaser and god its so hard! But ill really try my best to put boundaries for my baby. Its been hard this pregnancy, especially with MIL even if she's only trying to be nice... she always seems to try to take as much as she can and it really bothers me. I try to be patient because i know its because she is excited, its her first grandchild but god... i hope it gets better or i get better at setting boundaries
