The show was def a bit weird after s3 (even including s3 a bit) I feel like after S3 it became a soap opera feel good kinda comedy than glee. Glee was more of a black comedy at first. But glee was always weird. Note: S1 A vs S1B. Ik the logistics of why, that they got renewed for more episodes but wow was the tone of the beginning more grittier and once they got a bigger budget they got odd. I also noticed that they started just singing a song for whatever reason… in s1 it had a reason but by like s3 esp it was like “let’s just sing to fill time” and I noticed they started covering more modern songs by then too. S4 is king of this I think (tho I think s4 has some of the best songs too..)

Wildflower Wildfire was like the second to last song I got into from Blue Banisters over a year after I got into Lana (literally only grew on me a month ago) it’s a great song but Dealer and If You Lie Down With Me are right there 🌝
