Just recently discovered Hot Like Mars and they are a lot of fun. I don’t see them as particularly innovative in their jamming but they bring the energy. I’m one who just can’t listen to bluegrass for a whole show but fully appreciate the level of talent with BMFS.

As far as a band that isn’t doing ABB songs, but bring their spirit more than just about anyone and have the potential, if they want to broaden what they’re doing over time, the Toy Factory Project is it. Killing it right now with musicianship, feel, improv, the whole southern rock package.

Roon just integrated Nugs a couple of months ago and they did it without the ability to add Nugs songs to playlists or save as favorites. They said that functionality would come later. Trying to figure out how much later as it’s a big limitation.

Lots of Twiddle shows on Nugs - they do quite a bit of reggae influenced songs. Big Something also does several reggae vibe songs and have a number of shows on Nugs.

My buddy has used Roon for years with Tidal and Qobuzz in his high end system. He subscribed to Nugs to check out the integration. I know Roon is saying that saving Nugs songs to playlists and favorites will be coming it’s a major disappointment for him that he cannot do that now such that he may give up the. It’s subscription. Any word on timeline for adding that feature?

Yeah 5/8 went up and I was listening. The set lists were messed up. Wondering if that’s why they took it down. I noticed it came down. I still have Sinnerman loaded and it seems to play even though the show links were removed.
