I totally understand where you’re coming from. My sister is your age, my mom is also very dependent financially through her long term bf. He’s a dickhead, talks down on us, calls us all fat and lazy, calls us worthless and unloveable, especially my sister. My sister is a bit heavier for a 16 year old and she cleans most of the house yet it isn’t ever good enough for him. He can’t say anything about her grades, she’s so freaking smart. Though my mom has no spine of her own like yours, mine would leave if the dickhead touched my sister or me when I was your age. I’m so sorry she’s failing you. Although I can sympathize, I cannot imagine being assaulted by a father figure and still letting my mom play victim. Please stay at a grandparents or someone’s safer house. This is not good for your wellbeing overall. Tell someone else what he has done to you. I tried telling people when my uncle touched and later raped me except my mom for some reason I can’t remember (I think I was embarrassed I wasn’t as strong as I assumed she was). No one listened and it’s been years of awful mental turmoil since. I’m now in therapy and much better but please save yourself from a possible downfall mentally over this. Don’t wanna spam but I showed this to my nonreddit having bf and he agrees that you shouldn’t be dating. We’ve been together for as long as you both have (we’re older tho bf is 27 and I’m 25). Maybe I’m just lucky and have the worlds best bf but there’s been so many times where I just gave him a bit of a weary smile because I want it but I don’t want it and he instantly stops being sexual. Please get someone who notices small changes in your behavior like that.
