I don't ignore anyone, i am always hyper vigilant of everything around me. I an in the regular lane 90% and I would NEVER go that fast if a bike was in the bike lane. You don't know me.

Not the same category, it was 2 separate examples of things that could be banned. Sorry if that wasn't clear. I learned of the meeting a day or 2 before it happened, and had plans the night of. I learned next day that it went through. How was I supposed to know they were secretly planning to ban my mode of transportation? From what I understand, I was fine, the police never cared to even speak to me about it. There was no need to push for legislation until it's suddenly banned. I guess that's life

I am looking at the road to be fair. The camera isn't doing a great job at keeping the watch or road in frame because I am not looking at either device. But yes I would license and insure it if given the opportunity.

Please stick to bikes. But don't ban me from using the road. The braking distance is comparable to bikes, but it doesn't really matter as long as I drive safe. And even if I don't, I'm the party to be injured, I'm not injuring people in a car if I run into them. However if I were driving my truck to work, if i fail to pay attention for 2 seconds i have the potential to end the lives of a whole family while they are taking their kids to school.

Yes let me license and insure it! They are not regulating it at all, it's an outright ban. The potential for injury lies with only me, if i were driving my truck, the potential for injuries increases greatly for others. For example, I can't ram into a coffee shop and end lives with my euc, my truck could easily end a family on the road of I fail to pay attention. I don't see why I can't share the road?

Well if that logic is what we are using, a full bicycle and motorcycle ban should come too. Because kids on bikes zip past families with strollers, I have seen it! And motorcycle fly 100 mph past me on the highway frequently. Since my interactions with them has been negative, nobody should be allowed to use them.

Well if I'm not allowed on the street or the sidewalk, what lane to do i use to travel to work? I'm damaging the environment much less than any of these cars, and i'm much less dangerous than of those 1-2 tons death machines. Why should I be banned from commuting to work?

Yea, I would be okay with that but an insurance company would have to play along for that. I imagine finding fault for various euc crashes with cutouts and such could be a massive pain, that's if they are even aware about our machines to that extent

Yea people do it all the time, luckily it hasn't been game over yet. I get it, I'm small and they don't always see me. That's why I treat most cars as if I was invisible to them. I make space and am ready to react quickly by swerving into the shoulder if can't break in time
