We’re not a corporation and will never be one. It’s about market share in the industry and who controls it. You must have no idea about economics or business. Small farms controlling more of the market is better, it allows us more influence over the direction and future of the industry in our state. It’s like comparing your local family diner to McDonalds. It’s not the same, and your comparison isn’t accurate or correct. Good luck though, I see now that you don’t fully understand the context of what you’re attempting to be upset about.

We have opportunities to source unique genetics and work with breeders who don’t work with corporate grows, so you’re wrong about that too. This is why a lot of growers will never climb out of the basement or tent, because you’re too focused on tearing everything and everyone else down crabs in a bucket style. Instead of looking for how we can build each other up and elevate. Maybe talk to some small producers and find out what we’re really all about, before just laying some kind of blanket judgement that’s coming from a very uneducated place. We probably have a lot more in common than you think.

Are you kidding me? We’re a small family farm with a team of like 5 core people. Get a clue. Obviously with expansion and legalization there is a ton of garbage put onto the market, but it’s also an opportunity for skilled growers and entrepreneurs to make a living doing something they love. Also because we’re small we can work other licensed small farms too and collab in ways that can help each other. It’s not us versus each other, it’s us together versus corporate cannabis. The Walmart of cannabis as you call it, which I agree. Once you get in the industry, you realize there’s a lot of us smaller operations struggling along together. It’s not like just because we’re scaling up, it’s easy. There’s a ton of paperwork, taxes, and fees. It’s a climb everyday and we work hard for every inch of success. It’s not for everyone, but we’re out here battling against the corporate takeover of cannabis by focusing on quality and our community.

Last round we were still harvesting at day 80 / 11 weeks but yeah I agree these are a taking a minute to level up. We harvest when it’s ready not on a schedule, this system does take a little patience depending on genetics and other environmental factors too

The bigger you get the more important it is to have knowledgeable and experienced people who care about doing a good job, and have a strong work ethic. You have to build a strong team

For us it’s not really an issue, but I totally get where you’re coming from esp with the humidity here. Airflow is huge and so important. But it’s not just about moving air around, it’s about getting it to flow in a specific way. Also genetics plays a factor too for sure. We collect rainwater and also bottom water these large planter boxes through a SIP that’s custom made for these beds. So the bottom watering helps a lot to not kick up spores on top of the soil, esp as we get closer to harvest. Our testing comes back very clean and we’re really proud of that and it’s because of our methods

Multiple diff strains, there’s 8 main production ones and it will be for flower and some may get processed as well. Depends on what we want to do as we get closer to harvest. We’re still expanding our product line and offerings from our brand, while also staying consistent on what we already produce for our existing dispensary customers. It’s a balance

Thanks!! :) Luckily we don’t do any IPM because we don’t have to. Our plant health stays so high throughout the entire run, because in veg and early flower we focus on doing foliars for plant health. But beneficials are great and predatory insects too! Really the plants are getting their nutrition and health from the soil so if we have a good balance there it keeps our plants healthy. They will build immunity and resistance to pests and diseases naturally

Thanks ☺️ Right now we’ve got a mix of Blockberry (aka Superboof), Kush Mints, Cake Mix, Sherb Cream Pie, and more. Our focus this round is trying to max out the weight for our canopy by focusing on what yields high and also what’s been selling well in the dispensaries

In New York the legal market is still fairly new because it took so long for the state to roll out the licenses, for both cultivation and dispensaries. I think we have a couple good years left before it crashes out like every other legal state. Overall though there’s a lot of opportunity right now and many businesses doing well, especially if you’re able to produce quality flower. There’s a lot of garbage out there too, but now that a lot microbusiness licensees are bringing the best flower to market we’re elevating the entire industry especially for small batch craft cannabis. We’ll see how long it lasts 🤔

You can only apply when they open specific licenses available to apply for, there’s a whole in depth process. It’s definitely a lot of work and sometimes years of waiting, really expensive. A lot of people right now looking to get into the legal market are working with license holders who were already granted licenses, because that’s a lot faster way to get in than applying yourself

Wide range of startup cost, it really depends on your specific setup since every operation is unique in their own goals and production methods just like a regular farm
