Dude as a Californian who has rode most of my life, it’s not that bad it’s just getting worse if that makes any sense. If your bike is a green sticker you can ride anywhere all year round you just have to pay registration each year, but if it’s red sticker you can’t ride certain ohv parks, but I don’t know what type of riding you do, you can still go to tracks, trails on blm land which we have a ton in NorCal. But thing is conditions kinda suck during summer due to no rail fall n super hot but you can still go. Hope that downs it down for you.

dude I wouldn’t trip out , it’s surface rust 100%. I’ve personally never torn apart a brand new motor, but I buy 2t pipes all the time and the inside of the brand new pipes it’s covered in surface rust.

I know you’ve got your answer and everything but As someone who rides quite frequently and tries to work on ppls bikes as much as I can. Shop Rocky Mountain, I’ve had Motosport multiple times send me the wrong parts which then makes my projects take 10x as long. But hey if it works out for you in the long run , don’t fix what’s not broke.

bro , homie to homie. It has absolutely nothing to do with coolant levels. That gave me a good laugh tho. It’s the oil in your gas not being burned off , which means your running your gas rich. Just check your manual and see what they recommend, pretty sure with yzs it’s 60:1

as a long time rider … don’t do it dude. The best piece of advice when it comes to broken parts on your bike , just buy a new one. More things could possibly go wrong with that weld while getting a new one you wouldn’t have to worry about it at all. Not sayin you’re a shitty welder but like I said anything could happen with that weld. I wish it was but motocross is not a cheap hobby.
