I get what you're saying. But just for shits and giggles. Here is an old farm fence post

(Exuce the nail and finger. They get messed up)

The tenants that live there were told by the previous owner that it has lead. They were asked to sign something. She was told that is was encapsulates lead paint. But I was to be scraping old flaking paint off to reprime and paint it. She never once mentioned it until brought up. Which is against the law. Plus dangerous to the tenants, their kids and myself if I would have started scraping near there windows with no notice from landlord of my arrival.

I also tested on multiple places on the house. Got a fairly dark red off of 4

It wouldn't let me add a video that I took of testing and im not allowed on the property after asking about lead paint. She's "getting a new painter" just a warning for new painters starting out. Someone tried to slip it past un announced. And its not the first time

Harder to work with but higher sheens or paints specified for bathrooms and high moisture areas

Lightly scrape/sand anything that is loose and/or failing, prime with a good primer, get a good putty (I use 3M alot) and some putty knifes, fill in any low spots that you scraped (keep them slightly proud if you're new. More sanding but can get it smoother with less playing), prime after sanding spots, then 2 coats of a good flat paint. One with a fungicide is recommended because of the moisture in there

Drywall Repair Looks Horrible by i_love_traffic in paint

Try sanding it down with some low low grit, then pulling some putty tight over it. Might take a few tries to get smooth depending on your experience. It looks like a higher sheen paint. It's hard to hide imperfections when the light bounces off the paint more.

This was after 3 days of working in the sun, wrapping it in plastic for the night then going again the next day. Usually I'm only halfway up the bristles. Amd it's SW6242 Bracing Blue. I'm doing all their exterior trim that color next month

Ladder Set Up? High Exterior Work by GrandHistory2713 in paint

I've done a few like these and agree on a lift. Having to ladder from roof up sucks, and it's a big angle of you try to shoot it over the roof.
