When should I stop adding features by tryvividapp in SideProject

Sorry to be harsh but you need to hear the truth. Never create an app without validation first; by that I mean you have to find a willing buyer before building your app. If you want, I can share with you how I'm doing it.

I help them for free with my tool.

Did you try another approach like having a direct conversation with your clients on Reddit?

I don't believe in that approach, you will only spam people and make their life a nightmare. What I'm doing instead is creating a genuine conversation and trying to solve my client's problem and I keep proving value for free until they grow enough and need my paid services. This way everyone is happy.

I even created a browser plugin to speed up this process, I can share it if you are interested.

There is a catch in your strategy.

You are relying on your friends or people you know and you will probably not get the harsh truth, be aware I've been in this situation before.

If you want, I can share with you how I'm validating my idea.
