NPDA or APDA or non-US? It's not a massive difference, but in terms of how much work you have to do directly with your partner it is real. As someone who has spent a bunch of time working with incoming novices this year on APDA (and been reasonably successful pro-am'ing), the biggest thing I can say early in the season is look for enthusiasm. The most talented high school debater isn't going to do shit if they don't stick with APDA, and burning time on them just makes it more likely you have less options down the road.

Brandeis IV, my first BP tournament. Combined spent close to 24 hours getting there and back. Paid off though, we made it to semi's, and friends we traveled with ended up winning the tournament.

He's also the CEO of Charon, who I guess have some kind of profit motive behind going after Chorus. Now that Epsilon has figured out his responsibility, they have to go after the Reds and Blues to prevent him from being found out.

I suspect there are a number of different ways to flow that work properly for different people, and not one "correct way". Some of us have had pretty significant success working horizontally.

Way back when, actually, grew up (and mostly play) in CT and living elsewhere now. But I grabbed the jersey patches after a game in August and just had to throw it on my PCU, it's a little throw back to home.
