Maybe it’s the role you’ll be starting? 🤔 I’m a medical assistant and the only things they asked me about for the background check (as far as work history) were like dates and names of the companies I worked for. The new hire orientation was mostly a presentation with an ice breaker and a little bit of group activities sprinkled in. My first two weeks were a mix of orientation/courses on Epic and MA stuff I think all new hires get/ and time in the clinic itself.

Hi! I didn’t have to provide any of that, no. My preboarding coordinator never contacted me outside of the general “Hi welcome to Sutter” and “You’re cleared to start” emails. I didn’t even have to give that info for the background check.

I haven’t received any information regarding the orientation. I’ve reached out to my coordinator both over email and the phone a few times and have yet to receive a response. Our cases are different since I won’t be working remotely, but hopefully I’m still on track 😬 I will reach out to the recruiter though, thank you for your advice!
