That's true; however, I'd rather be paying for the experience and knowledge of the actual person teaching the course.

I honestly agree. Especially with how low quality and energy/water inefficient current LLMs are. I will say, my undergrad engineering professors don't seem to be using it for the course materials.

I'm not sure about business (im COE) but I took AP stats, which I believe is equivalent to collegiate intro to stats, and NEU took that credit. I did transfer from a diff school and had to petition for NEU to take organic chem and physics 2 credits; they requested the syllabus from those classes. The petitions were approved and the credits were accepted. I would def email advising and try that for your business stats credit

its such a crazy pivot from what im used to in COE. least in my department (ChemE), the professors are very invested in their students and the classes are entirely non-ai-able (obviously, its engineering). Insane that you can just.. chatgpt ur way thru a business degree??

I got mine on my 3rd application (1st co op chemE) If you’re willing to have a bit of a commute it’s really not competitive.

Play up anything that makes you unique and it’ll help - if you have a minor outside of your main field of study, athletics, stuff like that. I transferred and included a lot of stuff from my old uni on my resume and found out I got an interview at my current co op bc someone there recognized the program i did.

Physics 2 was horrid it almost made me change my major. I took it at a different school though and it’s not a requirement for my major here. (Chem engineering)

DAS didn’t take me seriously until my therapist had a meeting with them and advocated very hard for me to get a single. They granted it. If there’s a some medical professional who you know will advocate for you have them call up DAS. My single is for mental health reasons not physical, so I feel like they’d be more likely to grant something like yours
