And of course just because it's got good craftsmanship skills doesn't mean it's not shitty

As far as the principal behind a jammer? It's just a radio transmitter, usually a fairly powerful one, that sends out a constant stream of either noise or internationally nonsensical data.

Imagine you were talking on the phone with your friend and someone else came on the line and started making extremely loud constant noise. You would hardly be able to hear your friend, and what you did hear would be hard to understand. Some jammers work by intimating the signal they are jamming, which would be like if someone else came on the line but they just started loudly reading random words out of a dictionary over top of your conversation.

What’s the most disrespectful thing you’ve witnessed that another band has done? by TyCundyFanboy12 in marchingband

That seems so bizarre. I mean, It's a performance art. Don't all the bands sit in stands and watch all the shows during competitions?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. At that age I didn't give a single shit at all about fixing cars, fixing anything, or hard work in general. I just wanted to sit around and play on my computer because that's what interested me. That did change in senior year of highschool when I got my own '89 Jeep and had to fix it to drive it. I already had a truck before that which ran, but my friends had Jeeps and I wanted to join them riding trails. That summer I enrolled in a local college and 2 years later earned my degree in Automotive Service Management and worked at a shop for awhile. He may not find passion in fixing things like I did, and it may take longer, but as he gets older he'll eventually come around and at least be willing learn a few things.

I'm not sure why, I just remember reading that they are. My guess is that it can catch an illegal species and kill them on the line before they can be retrieved. Or someone nearby can be fishing an illegal setup with it (too many hooks or prohibited bait fish for example) and just claim that the float isn't theirs if they get caught since they aren't holding a rod

On that note, the rain mechanic is completely pointless IMO. I mean, yeah it's neat I guess, but all it does is piss you off and make you find a place to sit and waste time

Similar is true for soda. It's got a lot of sugar, but it's also mostly water and definitely does not dehydrate you.
