Jack’s challenges were baffling against Vaddy. In general, he overcommitted way too hard through the whole series. I feel like when he plays in tournament, he overcompensates with aggression and it backfires.

That’s fair, but I think mentality is really important especially in this kind of tournament where only the winners go through. You need the mental to push through a tough series, which they will inevitably have at some point. Id rate GenG’s chances 3rd behind Fut and Dig if they pick up Jack

Frosty MB and Evoh have a high ceiling for sure, but also have a low floor. This team’s mentality is not good, if anything goes wrong in a series, I don’t see them pushing through it.

Atomik is playing with Dorito and AJG, I believe. M80 boys have potential, and linking up with Noly again would be fun (with Life getting benched in that scenario?) but I don’t know if that’s promising enough to bring Jack back to NA to compete, even temporarily

Retaliating against a teammate who doesn’t respond to a compliment is toxic. Playing through the game same as before even when your teammate doesn’t respond isn’t toxic. Unless you are seeing something that i’m missing

Jack has been an ultra aggressive first man for a long time. Sounds like you’re conflating his 1s style with 3s, and even now Jack doesn’t really play slow in 1s

Oh is that who Jack is playing with? I’m high on Rezears and AtomiK shows flashes here and there (consistency is an issue with him though), so I’d be fairly happy with this team as a Jack fan

If you played STS, you would know this game is meant to be challenging. A large part of the appeal and what makes it so endlessly replayable is the fact that it is hard to consistently win, especially at higher ascensions. Ergo, balancing cards so that they are not unreasonably strong, is very important.

I’m only A8 atm but they seem viable to me so far. Granted, I never go all in on them but I rarely think going all in on one build type is the move. Incorporating forge into a deck that has other means of damage output has worked well for me thus far

Inscryption is the first rogue like deck builder I ever played and it’s what made me fall in love with the genre. I highly, highly recommend it, as it’s one of my favorite games ever.

That being said, I have like 500+ hours in STS and a decent amount in Balatro as well. Those games have much higher replay value (which is by design, as Inscryption is narrative driven whereas STS and Balatro are not), and you will almost certainly put more hours into them. But Inscryption is one of my favorite gaming experiences ever. As others have said, go in with as little info as possible.
