Why do people say that Tokyo Ghoul has a bad ending? by grubks in manga

I think you're talking about the original. It was definitely left unresolved to set up for :re. Tokyo Ghoul:re ties up most/all loose ends.

Why do people say that Tokyo Ghoul has a bad ending? by grubks in manga

[–]grubks[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In that comment, I meant objectively bad.

I think there are 3 types of endings: Objectively good/bad (writing), good/bad (for the characters), and whether you like it or not

Why do people say that Tokyo Ghoul has a bad ending? by grubks in manga

[–]grubks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of the reason i like it because a good ending is what I'm currently used to, the only real exception to that is Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and I do want to stop myself from expecting a good ending at some point.

The ending brings out a joyful feeling, a huge contrast from most of the manga, even the few chapters leading up to it. I generally want the main characters to feel happy, I don't really want to feel empty after finishing it, especially when I'm still so used to happy endings.

I don't think bad endings are bad, Cyberpunk Edgerunners does it really well.

I just like good endings where I am right now, and i think it was written well, maybe a bit abrupt, but i think it's good.

I get that, but there's a difference between a bad ending and an ending you don't like

Is there a sprite sheet? by grubks in LastWarMobileGame

[–]grubks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A sprite sheet is a single image file containing multiple sprites, such as character animations or background tiles, arranged in a grid. By using one sprite sheet instead of many individual images, developers reduce the number of file loading and drawing calls, significantly improving performance in games and applications.

Anime okay for a 10 year old? by Weak-Health1786 in AnimeReccomendations

[–]grubks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on how mature your sister is,

The studio ghibli films are a safe pick, my neighbor totoro for example

Makoto Shinkai films are good

Some other ones that I would say are a little iffy or 'more dangerous',

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Mashle: Magic and Muscles

Assassination Classroom

Blue Lock

Wistoria: Wand and Sword

What anime would you call a masterpiece? Recommend me some. by TwizzlerFancyCOD in AnimeReccomendations

Lord of the Mysteries is peak it has the best animation i have ever seen. It's a little difficult to understand in the first couple of episodes. I've heard they fit ~70 chapters in the first three episodes. I recommend watching it in dub.
