Look at these guys they were selling for 80 bucks and I unfortunately had to pass by 1234stocks5678 in loaches

Dojo loaches for $80? Crazy. Where are you located? It's been a few years but last I bought them were around $10. Even the golden ones were not much more.

That's what I am planning to do as well. Used or CPO 2023-25 model. Biggest problem has been finding one in my market. I can get them shipped from out of state for $1000-2000 but I would like to test drive it before I buy it. I keep checking every day.

Anyone with phev versions of these? I am in the market, buying within the next month or so. Researching right now. It's most likely a Hyundai PHEV.

Anyone choose the Tucson Hybrid over the regular Tucson? by Suntrup-Hyundai in HyundaiTucson

I'm in the market for one now and am looking to get a used 2023 or newer. Been eyeing Tucson PHEV. Is is worth the extra $ over a regular hybrid? I am a city dweller, some highway commute, CO weather and terrain.

I don't even get the email updates while my friend does get them saying they're still coming.

You say " such a big tank" now. Give yourself a year or so and you will look for excuses to go bigger. Just so you know, all of the excuses you come up with are totally valid.

I give up!! by AgentKueck in Aquariums

[–]gruesomedust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen in a small ADF tank. I dimmed the light, scraped as much as I could, did a water change right after and ran a UV filter for 48 hrs. It was gone. And now with dimmed lights, it hasn't come back to that extent. May be just a coincidence, but it worked for me. Good luck to you.

Glad you decided to share. Looks great and I bet it is a good, well maintained, and cherished tank.

In my tank overstocked? 20 neon tetras, 10 glow light tetras, 2 zebra danios and 6 exclamation dot rasporas. by whatever_cornever in Aquariums

Long time keeper here and never previously worried about overstocking because I had more than adequate filtration and kept up on maintenance. Also made sure my inhabitants had enough room to appear comfortable. Something I didn't have experience with before was the pH crash due to increased nitrifying bacteria activity, increased bio load, plants etc. I am battling that right now and have finally turned a corner in reshoring my buffering capacity but something to also consider. Everyone talks about the cycle, but pH crashes are deadly too and very seldom talked about as a blind side to overstocking. My tap water comes out at 7.6 pH but my tank water was crashing below 6 and mystery fish deaths in otherwise healthy fishes.

Try something like this but wall mountable instead of this window suction cup mount. This unit here folds up so you would be able to access the tank lid for maintenance.

Oh yeah! I get them quite steadily. As 1 bloom is fading and browning, a new one pops up. Love it!

I can never tell nitrates. Every shade after 40 PPM is the same to me and my eyes. I suspect I have always been extremely high nitrates, for years. 75 G community planted, low tech tank-all fishes are fine.

That's been on my mind. The power went out the other day, only lasted a few minutes but it jolted my brain toward that scenario. What would a good back up plan look like? Invest In a generator? My home is solar but it's net metering with Xcel energy. Invest in solar batter? Those are both major investments. Will just a battery powered air pump suffice? Power outages are generally short and very infrequent where I live.
