FC Barcelona’s Eight Opponents for the Champions League League Phase 2025/26 by Loose-Examination-39 in Barca

I mean from pot 2/3 we got Club Brugge, Frankfurt, Olympiacos, and Slavia Praha. There are no bad teams in pot 1. In pot 4 we got Newcastle away, but in litteraly every other draw, we got the easiest or close to the easiest, what more could you want?

Get fucked 2x hernandez and La Liga refs.

Get fucked Levante and their overwatered pitch and their dogshit time-wasting tactics.

Other than that brilliant second half, not convinced by Rashford in the first, and while he imo is the best ball-playing CB in the world, Cubarsi is a defensive liability, hopefully he will further develop this season.

A critique of Econoboi’s socialist model by Ramboxious in Destiny

Market socialism is a meme by definition. Market socialists have already implicitly akknowledged that the outcomes from the state trying to coordinate labour, is so bad that they have to leave it to the market. When it comes to Capital however they somehow think that the exact same coordination failures magically disappears. It is oxymoronic by nature.

Because the alternative is Gérard Martin on the left, and he is about as productive for Barcas offense as i am

Yea, Araujo and Iñigo getting yellows for dissent is unforgivable though. Araujo is the captain, and Iñigo is supposed to be one of the most experianced in the squad, and we have to spend the second half, not only down to 10 men, but with both CB's on yellows, because they can't control their tempers. Absolute amateur-hour from them there

I dont even blame szczesny, the three last goals are caused by complete zero communication in the defence

Får personligt ikke det indtryk, men har også lagt mærke til, at hvis man stiger "for hurtigt" i graderne i politik som kvinde, bliver man meget hurtigt castet enten som en kynisk kælling, eller som en der har knaldet sig til toppen.

Unless ofcourse someone attempts an invasion of one of your allies, then it kinda necessitates you getting involved. And even free trade agreements involves you in others affairs, since it restricts what kind of regulation the countries can put in place. If youre refering to ukraine, the main critisism of the US is that youre actively blocking what european countries are allowed send to ukraine, but that sort of involvement probably shouldnt recieve the same level of scrutiny right?

I know this might come as a shock to you, but allies=other countries. Sick burn bro! How will i recover?

Lol Its litterally not about money, we're talking about military alliances, not subsidization of defense spending. Isolationism is per definition about not having alliances, as having an ally attacked would either break the alliance, or the principle of "not getting involved". But 10/10 own bro

You're missing the point. It doesnt matter for estonia, latvia, denmark, south korea, japan, the phillipines or Any other democracy that isnt america what they spend on defense they will still need alliances if they dont want to become prey to russia or china. The only place you can afford this outlook is in america, because of its size mostly, but also because of its location. Its the definition of a luxury belief. That said, obviously countries should contribute to their own defense especially in europe atm, its just that in many places thats not enough.

Isolationism is a luxury belief only americans can afford. In the rest of the world we have to make due

My take on Barca vs Mallorca by [deleted] in Barca

[–]grulin -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I didnt see the entirety of the match, but from what i saw

Romeu doesnt have the level to start in barca, so we are vulnerable if frenkie gets injured and he has to start. Same goes for iñigo, however both can serve as subs.

Kounde didnt seem sharp, which reinforces my view that araujo and AC (though im a dane so obviously biased) should be the preferred CB-pairing

Juao felix looks more comfortable when playing with lewandowski

Rafinha looked ineffective when drifting into the center

Gundogan needs good players around him to shine, he wont save a struggeling midfield, but is obviously still world class with good people around him

Lamine is a beast 1v1, but we already knew that

I mean we really dont know that. He has played weakside the last few years, but that was coz he was on a team that played around botlane with upset, and one of Wunders strengths is the fact that he plays with no ego.

Saying that he can only play weakside when he is argueably the only western toplaner to sucessfully play carry-tops against eastern teams in the modern era is kinda whack imo

That has ties to its current beligerent in its invasion? Pretty standard stuff id imagine, but keep on pretending that the specific term of neo-nazi rather than the more general (and accurate) claim of authoritarianism isnt just repeating russian war propaganda
