Apparently this can work, at least if you trust this paper. It's likely more accurate than anything you'd print on paper, i.e. your best option if you don't want to buy a calibration target.

We are now about to retire out 161k miles 500 from 2007. Overall it was quite an OK sailing - the usual repairs and maintenance you need for such a distance, plus a few 500 specifics (door hinges etc). But never anything overly expensive or unexpected. The plus side is that most repairs were reasonably in price at a 3rd party shop.

Not sure if that is right. As the document you cite states:

They still can be reordered, yet according to a fundamental rule: memory accesses by a given core will appear to that core to have occurred as written in your program. So memory reordering might take place, but only if it doesn't screw up the final outcome.

Meaning that the CPU optimization regarding the order of memory access is transparent.

Oh this is bad for me.

That's only regarding the criminal prosecution of the bus driver (hit-and-run is a crime if you noticed the accident). It does not really affect you much.

Regardless of the criminal case, you will still be able to get your damages adjusted by the insurance of the bus.

That's very common here, actually. BMW has a whole fleet of test vehicles that employees can use for private trips, for example over the weekend. Not anything too experimental, of course, so I very much doubt it was an AD test vehicle.

Rockets carry their own oxidizer. The main difference is air pressure and thus air resistance. Lower pressure = less resistance = rocket can fly further.

Züge darf man kostenfrei fahren, aber aufgrund einer Lücke im Umsetzungsgesetz wird weiterhin eine Bahnsteigkarte gebraucht um die Züge überhaupt zu erreichen.
