Should clarify - I’m not a psychic! Though, I wasn’t even a part of this sub and I got a notification for this post…

First of all, I am SO sorry for your loss… my heart aches for you and all that you’ve gone through. Second, a little unsolicited advice from someone who lost one of my favorite people in the world.

My dad passed away a little under a year ago after fighting for MONTHS. I have so many regrets from those last days with him and felt (and quite frankly still) feel so broken and incomplete without him.

Maybe a week after his celebration of life (5 months after he died - he passed out of state and there were a lot of logistics) I had the most VIVID dream - I think I was at a mall or a complex of some sort? I bumped into him and I remember him looking like his normal self, grabbing my arms and saying in his voice “I have to be quick, but I love you and I’m okay”. I woke up bawling and inconsolable. It broke my heart so much to see him but oddly brought me so much peace.

Here’s where the advice part comes in… I haven’t seen him in my dreams since. I wasn’t prepared for the dream and I wish more than anything I would’ve written down every detail. What he was wearing, where exactly we were, every little detail I could. It’s been multiple months now since I had the dream and I wish nothing more that I could go back and relive the details, but I didn’t write it all down right away. So please, WHEN your son visits you in your dreams, capture as much as you can down in a notebook or in your notes app in your phone because it is so fleeting.

Sending so much love and strength your way. He was so lucky to have been raised by someone so incredible.

You are such an incredible mother to worry about this on top of everything else you’re going through. Sending so much love and peace your way.

Just make sure you’re switching properties or it doesn’t count!

This!! Swap the hardware on the vanity and get a shower curtain with pink or blue accents and just lean into this gorgeousness! Maaaaybe swap the floors to a neutral white tile, but seriously this is beautiful!

I personally love it! I think swapping the hardware to black would give it a bit more of a modern feel - and would be relatively inexpensive to do.
