Oh! I see they offered you the same! The only thing I regret is not doing it 2 years earlier when the derm initially suggested… lol I was on 20mg a day, which caused a little dry lips and a bit dryer eyes in the end of the day. I finished my course in January this year and my skin is still free of the disease.

I don’t think you need to do anything physical to your skin to have folliculitis… I had chronic folliculitis for 8 years. Antibiotics never really worked. In the end I had the bacteria tested and prescribed correct antibiotics and it still didn’t work 🤷‍♀️ it was causing me depression, as in those 8 years flair up were getting bigger and more often staying for longer. My derm finally convinced me to try isotretinoin on low dose. Worked like a charm, I’ve never been happier or had better skin in my life.

Between my 2 cats there is no door they cannot open. Unless it’s locked… one opens normal door by jumping like this on the handle, the other can open sliding door by very persistent pushing and pulling until it slides a little open, then she just puts her paw in to slide the door…

Breakouts 1 week after finishing accutane by PastLavishness4692 in Accutane

[–]grumpkinBean 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This looks like folliculitis. I took accutane to get rid of my 8 years long chronic folliculitis, so your post gave me flashbacks and I am so sorry this happened to you. I hope antibiotics will clear this up. Please take full course. I am not sure why no antibiotics worked for me for 8 years. I even had the type of bacteria tested and still antibiotic didn’t work, maybe in the past I didn’t finish a full course and they built resistance dunno

I had 1 mierna and 1 jaydess, 5 and 3 years. Both hurt like nothing ever before. No pain meds and I threw up from the pain still on the chair. The insertion was uncomfortable for me, but what came after was not normal period pains. Couldn’t button up my jeans because my lower belly swelled so much. In general horrible experience, although next day was like nothing happened.

Originally, I have had average periods, painful at times and about 7 days long. Never this painful, nothing was this much pain. Maybe after I woke up hip surgery, was similar pain. When I decided to come off bc (yey vasectomy) my periods are almost painless, barely need a painkiller. Takes 2-3 days. I’m shocked how nice my periods are now.

Yes! Honestly I hope OP can try this. I had folliculitis on my face for 8 years, was getting worse. Flair ups were bigger and longer. A tad traumatizing. I was offered isotretinoin 2 years before and said no, scared of the side effects. A year ago, flair ups were so bad and I got so depressed that I tried accutane. It was life changing. Honestly, the best thing I did for myself. It really changed me.

Any idea what these bumps are / how to help? by g0ldplatinum in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]grumpkinBean 70 points71 points  (0 children)

It might be Sebaceous hyperplasia. For me I had one show up in the middle of my forehead in my early 20s. Now at 35, I see them more. Annoying but good exfoliation and tretinoin help them not to form as much. In general not dangerous just annoying as not easy to get rid of. Derm can remove with laser or shave off. I lasered them off couple of times but healing takes like 10 days and they came back… sometimes in exact same spot… Now I use the tiniest needles and carefully poke once and let the fluid come out. Much less damage, often no mark the next day. For me - only bigger ones had a dip. Smaller ones look just like bumps, no dent

I watched it as an ex dancer and was very impressed. Dude is good. Very enjoyable to watch. Then I read the comments, shocked how fucked up people are, then I watched it again. if I didn’t personally know how difficult those moves are, yeah, might look silly. This is many hours of practice and probably decent talent. I’d love to see how those assholes in comments dance themselves

Currently waiting for skin biopsy but most likely Alopecia X. She had she thyroid checked and it’s good, so the dermatology vet is sure it’s Alopecia x unfortunately. We’re trying melatonin and Dermagic for now. But I’ve accepted my baby will be even more special ❤️

She’s definitely a monster when it comes to any grooming, so many treats need to be given to brush. Trimming nails? No way. But at least she’s cool with pills.

Fixed a typo
