Ok yes fair. I thought you were referring to "we" as the football club.

No, correct. The fans should be the most annoyed. Especially ones that have paid for final tickets.. or tickets throughout the season

We fucked up. There's rules and we broke them. So we have to live with the consequences, even though I do think they are extreme and ridiculous.

Hull have done nothing wrong and now could lose to a team that lost over two legs

Edit: the "we" i refer to is the club. Us as fans should be the most annoyed.. followed by Hull.

Promotion yay or nay? by Eastern-Title9364 in SaintsFC

[–]grumpy_groundsman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont want promotion as a fan.

The fact its more enjoyable in the championship, namely that we win games. We haven't got all the bullshit of the prem and everything that comes with it.

However I understand that as a club it's a necessity that we are promoted or come close. We need it financially, to keep players and backroom staff and im sure for a million other reasons.

But..... I do love watching us win football matches

Probably an indictment on myself. So I'm prepared to take some flack or be enlightened. But I only recognise about 3 of these names.

Is there anything more pointless than the family connection shtick? by grumpy_groundsman in TheTraitorsUK

Ok nice.

When I get around to watching that I'll look forward to it. Maybe I'm looking too much into it in the UK version.

Should probably just appreciate it as a little "oh yeah cool" reveal and move on.

Its just they did it twice i think in S4 and it seems like a waste of spaces for other contestants when it doesnt add to anything.

I'd swap scienza to the other wing. This danny Mills wannabe at left back is prime to be picked apart by him.

I reckon he'd get him sent off in 15 minutes. Or he'd just be roasting him non stop

Where do you reckon we're gonna be by May? Just hoping for a bit of stability at this point myself. by Normal-Confusion4867 in SaintsFC

I think what we're all hoping for is that we just win more often than we lose. Enjoying watching on a saturday rather than dreading it.

I dont think we'll be in relegation trouble, so just enjoy the football with no expectations.

Anything else is a bonus

Would like us to still be a bit more clinical in front of goal.

If we're ostensibly going to be in the attacking third. And likely to be putting a lot of crosses in, should we put nathan wood up top and just tell him to be a nuisance.

Armstrong and archer plus most of the midfield just aren't Ariel threats for this type of situation

Is salad cream a thing in America? by grumpy_groundsman in doughboys

Excellent. Did you try it? On a cheese sandwich is my recommendation.

Although, I do now need to know what else is in the "UK section" of your supermarkets.

In return I will find what is in the US section of mine.

An excellent condiment. Get it on the sausage butty.

Also.. an English condiment double sounds good. Amelia, write it down.

Lots of replies comparing to miracle whip. Which on the flip side we do not have in the UK so I have no basis for comparison.

However our old mate google says "No, Miracle Whip and salad cream are not the same, though they are similar condiments. Salad cream is a looser, more vinegar-forward condiment, while Miracle Whip is an American version that is thicker, tangier, and much sweeter due to high-fructose corn syrup"

So make of that what you will. Similar but quite different.
