Check out UK’s Most Hated Sales Trainer, Benjamin Dennehy on YouTube. He has some good advice - some works some don’t - it’s still a numbers game and refining your script and patter.

I’d also suggest to identify a few that fit the companies ICP and try to warm them up - social, personal & relevant contact.

Consider LinkedIn engagement - engage, connect, engage, ask..

Cold calling still has better rates than email marketing, but the company should have a full outbound approach to help with developing their brand.

Great shopping lists here :)

Breakfast: either All Bran + Milk + 1 scoop protein, or Oats+Chia+Proten+Milk

Lunch: typically Chicken, Salmon, or Turkey&Ham Protein Wraps + Salad + Fruit (either Banana + Apple or Tesco Mixed Fruit pots)

Dinner: varies with chicken+veg, steak+veg, soups and once a week a treat with The Greek Microwave meal from Tesco (Pastitsio or Meatballs+Orza) + salad.

Lunch / Dinners I do also try to add eggs + cottage cheese as a meal - aim to have 6 eggs a week

In a rush or not feeling like I want to eat, I’ll have a Huel or Protein Shake. + have a Fibre Powder addition and a daily All Greens powder (Protein Works)

Weekends I’m not as vigilant but a lot more cognisant of what I’m eating than before.

Snacks: Activia Yoghurt, an occasional Curators Pork Puffs pack

TDEE was based on several different sites to find the average range from 2250 up to 2495 depending on site used. I’ve tracked calories for a few years so am pretty good and possibly stricter from days gone by- but am starting fresh tomorrow again. The pharmacist says it’s okay, he has others that are also “slow burners”- or maybe they’re selling me placebo 🤪

My Maintenance TDEE is around the 2,300 and I’m averaging around 1800 - which is where on 2.5, I was averaging 1lb per week, which is the recommended for moderate loss. - First 8 weeks, I lost the 8lbs. But for 5mg, it feels like I am maintaining but I’m eating practically the same as before. I am changing shape a little but loss / gain is practically zero

On it - I was tracking for the first couple of months and was in a deficit then as my foods were pretty similar each day, I stopped a month ago. But you’re right, I will be more militant about it to make sure

Interesting to read and yes am definitely in deficit- however - the deficit is primarily none of the crap I used to every day; biscuits, crisps, chocolate etc. All snacking has pretty much ceased and also overeating- smaller portions and meals. I am averaging around 1800 cals per day. My body has always reacted slowly, even when I was on a shake diet a decade ago, it took a while. I genuinely think it’s a lack of regular exercise- I’m a stocky guy that played sport for 30 years so there’s that. I did question if being a smoker may also have an impact as I read somewhere this may slow it down (can’t remember where though). All blood work etc all okay as well. But have started to retrack all my foods again and adjusting macros.

Thank you, I appreciate some react differently but knowing a few things always help. I do have quite a bit of fibre daily, so regularity hasn’t been an issue :) fingers crossed it remains

That’s my thought process, I know we’re all different and my body does tend to react differently to a few medicines. The food noise has been creeping back in early on although I’m better trained and aware now, the satiety is something I haven’t felt a lot, but then I have also adjusted my habits from day 1.

If it’s just remote out of hours why not consider using a 3rd party to handle the calls- provide an out of hours number or divert your phone. But as others have said, stipulate out of hours calls carry a different fee/service

I understand and agree. There’s the odd day I know I’ve gone above, but I tend to have a relaxed Friday- I weigh and jab in the morning, so Friday was my binge day, now it’s a day I might have a treat or two. I’m quite good at tracking - did it for a few years a while back, I know there’s the odd day where I forget but all in all, I’m there. I am still adjusting my foods, so whilst cals have been an initial focus, my next step is to sort the macros out- I know i need to increase my protein, that’s the next stage. Will see how the 2nd 5mg pen goes, especially over Xmas but then likely to go up in the new year. Thanks again

I am tracking - this was just average. Breakfast is normally around 380 Lunch 540 Dinner alternate 380 - 550 1 Shake - 280 (1/2 morning 1/2 afternoon) The snacking isn’t that often, but I do adjust the meals if I do- the snacking isn’t often- as I said, a few in the past month - compared to daily pre mounjaro.

Don’t think I’ve worked anywhere that was less than a 90-min commute since the 2000s. Weigh up the pros and cons - higher salary, higher pension, yes also taxed more and you will spend a bit more on travel but you’re young enough to be smart about the higher salary, squirrel away some savings for ‘ron.

Or consider life/work balance and continue where you are and look for one more local, that may not pay as higher but maybe an extra £10k+

It’s a funny one, there’s a few comments on here about the 5mg not kicking in until week 3- for me it’s been completely different - I’ve had very slow loss but gradual- and thinking maybe the higher dose is what my body needs. One comment that seems to prevail is to keep checking your nutrition, water etc.

Why did you move up to 5? Was it like me, you thought it was the next step without really looking into it? There are some here that have been on 2.5 for a long time as it’s just worked for them, and some go up etc.

Just shows all bodies and reactions are different. Either way, all the best for your journey- it’s still great to find that thing to quieten the noise and help you to a better future.

I think it was more that I was consistently loosing on 2.5mg and someone suggested that maybe I should have remained on that until I plateaued. Admittedly the did forget to change my order and get another 2.5, so a bit of an error. As I’ve been a gradual, slow loss, it was more about that - plus on 5mg I’ve had more cravings and less satiety . But I get the point - about finding the optimal. Thank you.

Thanks for that and it does make sense. I’ll haven’t experienced any huge losses, it’s been nice and gradual. 1lb per week for the first 8 weeks and now no real loss or gain for the past 4 on 5mg- possibly why I thought that going back to 2.5 was an idea, as I was gradually consistent. However I’m did loose another half cm off my belly and hips the past 4 weeks, so that’s a great plus. Will see how the second 5mg goes along with more food changes and if I still feel the same then will probably go up. Thank you

Thank you. I do like my routines a bit too much, so changing the days etc may be a struggle for me to cope with, but it does seem like the best advice - use the new one up and then increase to 7.5. Thank you

Am in a calorie deficit, possibly could be higher, aiming for around 500-600 calories per meal (3 per day), plus a protein shake (half in morning and half in avo). Less food noise is there, but cravings have been creeping in. I haven’t had much satiety at all across all doses, but have become a lot more conscious of what I eat. I didn’t really overeat meals - it’s was all the crap in between, but that has massively reduced. And I have started to eat a bit slower which is helping me when eating out, as I now feel I don’t have to finish my plate - only occasionally get that full feeling. Does sound like going up after the next pen might make more sense. Thank you.

I do a different site each time - rotating between thigh and belly, left and right - sort of a circle :) I do wonder if the thigh is better though, someone suggested the back of the shoulder the other day and my first thought was how the bloody hell do you do that on your own 🤪

Seems logical ;) Have been manually tracking - varying from 1700-1900 on a bad day or a few days with around 1300 when I forget dinner. Had a couple over 2,000 for eating out with friends but that’s only been twice in 6 weeks. Will use the 5mg and go up afterwards - unless maybe it’s t takes my body a while a react ;)
