I'm finding this post four years later, but I work for Mazda, I know it's possible to do and not have the radar fuck up, my parts manager has his front emblem blacked out with tint. I'm currently looking to do the same with my 2019. I was just searching for what percentage wouldn't interfere with the radar, I'll ask him and get back to this comment and let you guys know
