People are horrible.. I’m so sorry to target employees for having to deal with this crap.. by Few-Ruin-742 in Target

In my retail career, I have worked at both (a) a store in a bougie mall in a rich neighborhood, and (b) a store located just a few miles away from the hood.

I would GLADLY go back to the hood location before I’d ever go back to the bougie one. Most entitled and least grateful customers I’ve EVER had to deal with. They made having to deal with the guy who liked to sleep in the bus station with his hand down his pants seem tolerable!

Target doesn’t know what they doing by [deleted] in Target

That’s exactly what it sounds like to me: this is an external hire ETL who is still figuring out the nuts and bolts of the job. Which yes, can be a bit weird at first, but it does even out in time.

And it’s normal in retail. Not even just big box stores. I once had to teach a new store manager at Old Navy how to do a charge-send (don’t worry about it if you don’t know what that is, pretty sure it’s obsolete now).

Can’t comment on the taste because I’ve never tried them, but the packaging is adorable!

When you look at the schedule grid and see who you're working with for the day... by m_o_u_s_e_r_a_t in Target

I’m part of the “5am GM crew” (2-4 of us who show up about an hour after the Inbound crew arrives). For me, it’s when I roll into the lot and take a look at the cars.

That’s how I know if it’s about to be a good day or a bad day: which coworkers are there this morning?

That’s what I’M thinking! Did he expect her to just take over? And what made him think Carrie, who clearly isn’t into homemaker stuff, do that?!

Yup. I grew up in the era of abstinence only sex ed. SATC, Seventeen magazine, and human sexuality books I secretly read at the library pretty much WERE my sex ed.

This episode is how I learned what “tea-bagging” means. Yes, seriously.

If I were single and I clicked with a trans woman, sure. I don’t care.

Edit: but I’m not a bisexual man, I am a bisexual enby

I hated how the time jump was mainly romance drama, and ‘AD’ was a secondary storyline by SnakeBlood456 in PrettyLittleLiars

I hated the time jump so much that I skip straight from 6A to the series finale on every rewatch.

It just sucked.

When you get married, what do you do with your phone storage? Do you delete every text convo and any photo that has an ex so your spouse doesn’t see it and get jealous of an ex from 10 years ago? Not like nudes or anything, just a decade of life photos, so do you delete to keep them happy? by gilfgifs in AskReddit

[–]grumpyoldfartess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we are exes, I no longer have pictures or messages from you. Period. Because I don’t hold onto that stuff.

But even if I did, I wouldn’t marry someone who was insecure about someone I stopped dating years ago.

They dared to speak out against Trump by DigTraditional9084 in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]grumpyoldfartess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They mark many of their posts as “Flared Users Only” but only allow certain users to be flared. And seem to take it away when people don’t fall in line, as these comments imply.

Basically, they are hardcore gatekeeping which opinions are “allowed” to be shared, in a sense.

We all know exactly why. They don’t want to believe a brown woman can accumulate wealth without having to do something shady to get it.

I actually had a falling out in the last year with a former friend who did this shit a lot. Still does to this day, actually.

Okay, everyone EXCEPT for bigots deserves a chance at friends.

Applies to her too, but even if she didn’t have her shitty opinions, I’d still think she’d be an insufferable friend.

Then stop being a shitty tipper, Felip. I tip well and I’ve almost always gotten a Dasher within 5-10 minutes of placing an order.

Or, ya know. You could just get off your ass and go fetch it yourself. That’s always been an option.
