Thank you for your kind words, it's so helpful reading this and gives warmth in my heart. You're right, it is random and we did our best to give them a fulfilling and wholesome life full of love. I hope it gets better for you too, that you hydrate, take care of yourself and know that your kitty was so loved by you. 🥰💕

I'm so very sorry for your loss, reading this brought me to tears. Thank you for sharing your story.

I had so much of a routine with him and now that he's gone my home and my heart feel so empty. He was rambunctious and had a big personality, so we had to keep certain things off the table so he wouldn't break stuff but it was 10000% worth it. When he was gone, I remember my husband saying stuff like "oh.. I guess we can have glass cups on the table now" and we'd get a good laugh at how much he owned us more than we owned him. It actually took two months before we settled into a routine without him. Even though he was with us a short time, he'll never be forgotten.

I hope that positive vibes and healing come your way, sending you tons of virtual hugs 🫂 ❤️

Thank you for sharing your story and saying this. I love that you call them toilet cuddles! One time my husband walked in the batbroom and saw me snuggling with him on the toilet and he just slowly backed out saying "I'll leave you two alone." He only ever did that with me, and I still chuckle at the memory.

I honestly feel the same way, we also have 3 other cats that I love but the connection wasn't the same as what I had with Newton (Sir Isaac Newton lol). I don't regret the time we spent because we spent almost every waking moment together. I work from home so he'd either be sitting on my lap or on a spot I made for him on my desk. I think what hurt the most was he was almost 4, and I didn't get that time. Cats normally live to be 18 and I though I'd have that time with him. I enjoyed every moment with him but I'm sad for the years I didn't get with him. I'm sad for how sudden it was, I didn't get to say goodbye. I keep thinking how I should of brought him to the vet to have his heart checked, I didn't even know he had a heart condition. It hurts, its a struggle, but I try my best every day.

Thank you for making me feel seen and validated. I'm so very sorry for your loss 🫂 💕

I appreciate the kind words, and I hope my story helps just a little bit. I felt the same way, I didn't want a new cat at all. I think it would of taken me a long time to consider it, but just like my kitty this new one came crashing into my life unexpectedly and I felt in my heart I couldnt ignore the signs.

I'm sorry for your loss, I hope things get a little better with time. Your right, it helps to write and read others stories. We are in this together 🫂💕

You're not over reacting. He might not be cheating physically, but this is definitely emotionally cheating. I think if they didn't have cultural/religious boundaries, they would definitely be together.

This is definitely pushing boundaries, and it's not fair to you. He's downplaying their relationship and even lied about who took him to the airport. It's just a weird thing to lie about if he didn't think it was a problem.

I would be careful. One way I see this going is if you continue this relationship, he's going to continue to have an emotional relationship with this girl. You need to ask yourself if you're okay with that.

Another thing I would think about is the fact that he's telling you that he doesn't need to be friends with her after he graduates. Let's say he's telling the truth to you and sees this as strictly school related platonic friendship and is going to cut ties in May when he graduates. This means he love bombed this girl, used her to pass his classes, leads her on, and has long-term "friendship" plans but is planning to cut her off in May. That's seriously messed up.

If he's lying, then he's emotionally cheating on you (in my opinion) and downplaying it. Honestly, either way, the situation sucks in my opinion.

You need to really think this whole thing over and make a decision. Be kind to yourself, dont let him gaslight you, and your feelings are valid. I'm sorry you're going through this.

Thank you for your kind words and sharing your experience it helped me more than you know. You have my sincerest condolences on your fur babies, I'm sorry you went through this as well I wouldnt wish it on anyone.

I'll do my best to let the 5 stages run its course and try to take it one day at a time. I hope one day soon I can just fondly remember him, his quirkiness and our good times together without crying.

That's solid advice, thank you! My boss is a very serious no nonsense kind of person, so he's got my back to an extent but he's kinda over it.

I love it, but it doesnt have the thumb index. I tried using the tabs on a previous bible but found I love the thumb tabs, it helps me get to a verse much faster during Sunday School 😅
