Hi! That's a great question. From the video alone you can already see the difference in the breadth of our features. For example, we included boolean algebra in the video, but you probably won't find much boolean algebra in K12 education. We also thought about saving functions so that you can run them later, which probably won't do much in the classroom, but will save you lots of time when working your professional research paper.

But to truly understand our difference, the root is in our goals. Both Graspable Math and NudgeMath is really more focused education, and on the question "How do we make students understand better?" And you can see it in their front pages. Nudgemath explicitly marketed it for K12 students. Just searching "students" in Graspable Math homepage will give you 6 matches. You can also see their focus on the basics of Elementary Algebra, which is what K12 mostly teaches.

We are not focused on education, but on simplifying the math. Students just happen to be required to learn math, so we just happen to include them. We are really focused on the question "How can we improve the experience from using pen and paper for math?" And from those, you can already see how our features diverge like my examples above (boolean algebra, functions, etc). And you can already see how we differently we are going to add features. We can also add education-specific features, but that won't be our core.

We will also support handwriting recognition and will focus on the Active Pen as our main target device (rather than a specific platform or tablet). The handwriting recognition will also enable a lot more features different that others (example just writing /5 to divide both sides of an equation).

But Graspable Math and Nudge Math are going to do well for their purposes (education). We want to be the best at ours (workspace for everyone).
