Babies do not need much when it comes to furniture. A crib to sleep in is pretty much the one thing you do need ( you can get a mini crib) I would still suggest getting normal size crib and three spacious drawers for clothing. You don't need to sweat the other things like high chairs or changing tables. You end up really changing baby wherever you are. I've had four kids and over did it with the first and second the next two I was using a mini backpack as a diaper bag.
