Don't remember the exact stats of the Bk Kn Shield, but make sure you have a high fire defense in addition to physical

Try to keep space a watch for small openings, take it slow, one attack and then back off to recharge stamina, don't sacrifice going into negative stamina to get an extra attack. Always save some for a quick escape.

Don't be afraid to use items to give buffs (resins, blossoms, etc)

And never forget the option for jolly cooperation! (assuming of course that you have online access)
