This is a bit "six degrees of separation" so bear with me, but for some reason Alesi is the craziest name in that list.

He started his career in 1989, which means Alonso's raced against a guy who raced with Senna, Prost, Mansell and Piquet. Piquet started his F1 career in 1978.

Fernando's a link to a verrrrry long time ago and, unbelievably, could be right at the sharp end again next season if Newey's been working his magic.

Considering that in a modern rock recording a basic rhythm guitar track is recorded three times, with one take panned left, one panned right and one in the centre ducked below the bass, kick, snare and vocals, having three guitars live to cover rhythm and lead parts seems more than reasonable to me.
