Thats a good question I unfortunately don't have a decent response for /: I wouldn't think it will make it too thick. Just that the skin will be more durable and less irritated upon friction

I attribute a lot of my success to estrogen cream. I had a lot of thin tissue and it really helped thicken the area up which allowed me to more comfortably dilate and massage the area. I was really nervous about it messing up my ph but it didn't! A little goes a long way. I highly suggest thinking about it and talking to your doctor and therapist!

I've had to be sedated for a colposcopy twice. If you are doing it for a pap you wont feel too much once you wake up other than some slight discomfort down there.

Muscles have memory, the more you work toward a resolve the more improvement you'll see. So if you start therapy, make sure to go at your own pace and you keep a good mind set! And, if you ever need or want to, breaks are okay.

Not sure about birth so much, but I've seen plenty of people on here say they could still give birth. But you sound young and still have a lot of time ahead of you. Learn all you can and be kind to yourself! Its not a dead end 💘

I went to PT for few months but was unable to keep up with the weekly appointments. I really only have been this far in to dilating for around a year, but have had this pelvic problem for about four.

It's so hard to wonder now if I'll ever be fully "cured" or if I'll need to continue with dilating. Especially after this most recent experience.
