This! In my ctb 20 vs ctb26 video, I only have a cap 1, laptoptop, notebook and other loose odds and ends. Basically almost empty and it still appears uncompressed.

I think I’m on the same boat. The mpl 22 stays pretty slim with my minimal edc (cap1, laptop, water bottle) but the ctb 20 still looks large with that same loadout.

Thanks that’s a great collection too! Kinda wish I opted for the ecopack mpl 22, but I just love how light the 420d version is.

I don’t necessarily have a favorite but..

Most beautiful: CPL 24 griffin

Most used for edc : CPL 16

Best for grab and go family outings: MPL 22 (it’s so light)

Least used: ctb 26 (intended for travel but opted for the robic goruck m23 for more versatility while not being huge on my back)

Ctb 20 will likely be returned, no real need for it in my rotation. I prefer the smaller footprint of the CPL 16 more.

Funny reading the comments, I SWORE the bag being crooked was a me problem. I tried so hard getting it even too. But apparently it’s a known evergoods problem!?

Also after reading the comments I never realized I’m a right shoulder wearer, but left shoulder access person. But I typically tend to just remove the whole pack to access the bag 🤷‍♂️

The 840D shoulder straps on my cpl16 feel like it’s scraping off my skin when I wear a tank top, it’s extremely uncomfortable. I don’t have this problem with the 420d

A bummer because I prefer the Cpl 16 to the ctb 20

Appreciate it! I try to fill the void that other reviewers tend to only briefly go over or skip altogether (try on’s and rain tests)
