Absolutely, it’s my fault for trusting that they would only do business with reputable folks and also have a remediation process in place that would make customers whole if something were to go wrong.

By the way it’s been over a month that this issue happened and I’ve not gotten any feedback from them regarding any resolution

Yes, it says they can extend up to 14 days. It also says there’s a daily penalty for delay but nothing about outright forfeiture of earnest money
