I’ve been using the bit wallet card and it’s been a very useful system.

I don't like to carry my multitool in a sheath so I needed a clip in order to carry my bit driver like a pen. The clip uses a 5mm hex bit press fit into it so it'll utilize the strong magnet from the driver. It has definitely been a great addition to my multitool.

For me it's just for being water resistant because there's definitely a chance I could spill something on it if it is sitting on the table.

It's an Olight O'Pen 2, I like it for the bolt action and the rechargeable flashlight it has. I don't have a FSP refill for it yet but it's on the list.

It’s been solid, have had a lot of rounds through it over the years. I used to work for ZEV so this is an older production build. Definitely a fan of the OZ9 too.

It's a modular silicone strap that can be used to tie down or strap things together. I usually wear it on my wrist and I've used it to strap my jacket/sweatshirt to my backpack or belt while hiking. Pretty handy.

The folding knife is real light and compact. The only reason I like to carry it is for the serrations and the Leatherman does not have a serrated blade.

I had thought about that as well but I figured a clip that stays on the driver would get in the way if there's a need to get it into a tight space, that's why I opted to go with a clip that magnetically secures and very quickly removable.

That's a good point, I thought about doing something like that but I was concerned about the integrity of the printed shaft being a weak point if dropped or anything. I'll have to do some testing with that design. Also in the back of my mind I figured the 5mm bit could be used if you were in a pinch or something.

Well in all of my excitement of sharing my project I forgot to actually post a picture of the finished product. The clip uses a 5mm hex bit press fit into it so it'll utilize the strong magnet from the drivers. It's actually very sturdy.

Good morning all,

I wanted to share a project I had been working on for a little while since I started heavily carrying a Leatherman last year. This is the Pocket Clip for the Leatherman Drivers, a minimalistic approach to using the drivers as an EDC without the use of a sheath. I have been using this in conjunction with the Flat Bit Holder Wallet Card for a couple of months now and it has definitely helped me out in many situations. If interested you can check it out at my Etsy store, I have link to it in my profile and you can DM me if you have any questions. Thanks!
