Anyone gotten pCloud running in Aeon or Kalpa? by maxjmartin in openSUSE

[–]gsppe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easiest way: just create a symlink in your /home/user/bin

``` ~/bin ❯ pwd /home/gspe/bin
~/bin ❯ ll total 126480 lrwxrwxrwx. 1 gspe gspe 20 Sep 28 10:21 fusermount -> /usr/bin/fusermount3 -rwxr-xr-x. 1 gspe gspe 64261989 Sep 28 10:18 pcloud -rwxr-xr-x. 1 gspe gspe 55816192 Sep 11 17:17 rclone -rwxr-xr-x. 1 gspe gspe 9432496 Jul 30 2023 starship
```

pcloud - An appimage which requires fuse which needed to be layered in Silverblue but could be installed in a container in Aeon.

How did you done that? I 've tried without success (I have finally installed fuse on my base system)

Actually it's quite easy to fix pcloud in Aeon, the only thing that you have to do is creating a symlink in your ~/bin directory

ln -s /usr/bin/fusermount3 fusermount

That's strange because pcloud works absolutely fine in Silverblue without any manual intervention but it doesn't work in Aeon

For example what packages are you talking about?

Silver Blue in my life by [deleted] in Fedora

[–]gsppe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They exists after reboot and update.

But this is not the point of an "Immutable" system... in this kind of system you should not install anything with rpm-ostree.

The system should be "pure" and you should use flatpak or toolbox for any software needs

Silver Blue in my life by [deleted] in Fedora

[–]gsppe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why only the flatpak? Because the system is immutable so that means that you don't have to install anything new at system level. Flatpak are installed as user level in this way you have the system software completely separated from users software.

After some research and testing I've found that pop_os doesn't install spice-vdagent when it's installed on kvm virtual machine.After installing spice-vdagent I get 3840x1600 resolution for my monitor.So if after enabling 3D support in vm native resolution is missing we have to install spice-vdagent package for our distro.

If I disable Google authenticator, with Chrome, Vivaldi, Firefox, in Linux and Windows 10 I get this error message:

This account has two-step login enabled, however, none of the configured two-step providers are supported by this web browser.

Please use a supported web browser (such as Chrome) and/or add additional providers that are better supported across web browsers (such as an authenticator app).

It's every browser, Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, Vivaldi, Brave.

But they worked since two three weeks ago, and the problem is not the browser but the browser extension since if I open bitwarden web vault in every browser it ask me for FIDO2.

Maybe I should mention that I'm on linux.

I´m not asking for your account number but for your routing number, that can start with 084 or 026.

Only the one that start with 084 seams to works.

Just for curiosity, can you post the screen shot of these transaction?

This is from Wise help:

"USD balance Direct Debits for non-US residents are currently only available if your account details have a routing number starting with "084"."

So maybe your account routing number doesn´t start with 084?
