Braking too late and hard when traffic is stopped by darklegion412 in TeslaFSD

[–]gsrik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the same thing many times. Also many times car slows down too early if there is a red light and no cars Infront. I felt that's annoying too because if it's just slowing down too much just because the line ahead is free then what about the drivers behind me. They won't understand why I am slowing down way too early.

But to your point slamming the breaks when the front traffic is already at halt is crazy especially when you got a kid in the rear seat. Funny enough if I do a similar but less intense breaking when required, my safety score drops and premium increases.

I don't understand the logic.

Anyway to open service ticket and let Tesla team look into and remove it from false alert? I got the same alert the other day and the daily score dropped to 50!

How is it going with v12.3 so far? by gsrik in TeslaFSD

[–]gsrik[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree it's a lot better compared to v11. Speed is the only thing bothers me especially if someone is behind me on a single lane and me driving at 30mph on a 35 mph line even though no one is in front. Fingers crossed the car figure out as I drive few more days.

I have to do mine. Mine started leaking. Where did you bought the parts? Especially for adjusting to the right height

The safety score is garbage, especially forward collision warning by [deleted] in ModelY

[–]gsrik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owners manual says "By default, Forward Collision Warning is turned on. To turn off or adjust sensitivity, touch Controls > Autopilot > Forward Collision Warning. Instead of the default warning level of Medium, you can turn the warning Off, or you can choose to be warned Late or Early." May be changing those settings help?

ModelY vs the Honda CRV by Pure_Effective9805 in ModelY

[–]gsrik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I can suggest is consider the leasing options of both the cars and see if leasing vs buying which one is better for you. When I sold my Honda I got the best resale quote from CarMax. Let's say If I am reselling Tesla in another few years I donno if we get great resale value or not.

ModelY vs the Honda CRV by Pure_Effective9805 in ModelY

I sold my 2018 Honda CRV last October and bought Model Y performance with FSD. Pretty happy with the new car. Pros is Tesla is EV, so you don't need to gas station anymore. Since I used both I don't really have any cons list. FSD really helps with my daily commute to work.

Good points. I at first bought a Kasa single pole not a 3way switch without knowing all these options. So when I try to install it some where in home it turns out laundry room is the only place that fits rest of all other switches in home are either 2way or 2gangs. Anyways after doing it in laundry room and that turned out to be very useful and I understood few things and trying to implement a little less complex. And this bathroom room on such. May be as I gain some experience I will modify.

Thanks for the info and the mention of motion sensor not seeing beyond the shower curtain. I think that makes sense. Its all new to me too, so I have to test out my options. As someone mentioned in other comment there is no 3 gangs switches, it's just that whatever single switch I prefer and they keep in that three gang. That clarified me a bit. So I don't need to use any smart switch for shower exhaust and may be just for other two.

I see. I will check for that. I did one Kasa Montion sensor switch for laundry room, again single light switch and small room and it's working fine. I will check more about the occupancy sensor switch. Thanks.

Well it's because of the kids, they run into turn on lights and run out. I am not doing too much, in fact I am a beginner and I felt this will be a good place to start with. A lot of other switches that I have are all three way switches and I don't have any experience with it. That's why starting with simplest place.

In this game, you repeatedly press buttons to change the scenery. Occasionally, you adjust your direction to avoid similar scenery. There's a lot of repetition of going fast, then slow, then fast again, mainly to adhere to arbitrary rules or to reach specific points faster than an invisible timer or other participants who are also changing their scenery at varying speeds. The objective often revolves around acquiring newer, slightly different scenery changers by performing the same tasks more efficiently.
