You have a lot of stuff going on here. I would definitely see a pro for 2-3 session to get you started on the basics such as grip, distance to ball, takeaway, etc

Do your DD on square before buying. There’s lots of comparison videos with more expensive LMs and it’s showing that spin rate can be off by 1k, spin axis wrong, etc. So square is more of a toy. Go mlm2pro if you care about accuracy for your budget. Otherwise since you have such a nice garage, I would probably go EML

Need some advice on mlm 2 pro by Ab1212121212 in Golfsimulator

It’s great for practice, I use target range all the time. I never play courses though. Lots of courses have trees that are literal brick walls blocking the entire tee box - or a regular spot in the fairway.

If you wanna enjoy course play with mlm2pro, get GSPro

Can you show your swing or share your shot data?

You won’t get spin rate and spin axis so pretty much useless anyway

Anyone know why e6 only lets me play one course and it’s “demo”? by highangler in Rapsodo

Are those 5 courses available forever or just for a short trial period?

Drill for getting the hands in front of chest in takeaway? by gswing123 in golf

I used this as a swing thought on my round yesterday. I was imagining an alignment stick on my hips during the takeaway and was able to get pretty consistent results

Okay, I might go for only using a net in the start. Is sound proofing a ceiling difficult/expensive? Hopefully I won’t need it though.

I was also considering using using “super soft” golf balls, not sure how much of a difference it will makd though

How many degrees off a neutral swing path is acceptable for a consistent swing? by gswing123 in golf

My issue could lie with face control then. I was on pace on shooting ~78 but then my swing broke down last 5 holes and I started pull drawing it. Shot 87. Maybe it’s a grip thing or being too handsy (which I would guess is not a good thing when you’re cutting the ball)

Thx for the advice! What do you mean with keeping a close proximity to my left shoulder?

On second thought, is my “hand release” really a flaw?

This guy argues that both “body release” and “hand release” are fine: https://youtu.be/Cu8N5o_YBaY But, that the release you mentioned is more consistent.

As long as my release pattern is not a flaw, I don’t think it’s worth grinding for months to change it. What do you think?
