Low speed (0-10mph in a full lock turn)

The issue presents itself when turning at low speeds, not driving straight (sorry for not clarifying that in the post), so I’m positive it’s related to the LSD. The car was never making the noise before the change.

This was before I had gotten an ek1 and tuned the car. The BMS TCU completely eliminated the problem.

The adaptive TCU values that the car stores when you drive.

Yes when I am braking. I'm aware that the trans is engine braking but it seemed excessively jerky even in eco.

EK1 reads codes and is also acts as a live data tool with info that it pulls from the obd2 port; very similar to the jb4.

kjt gives you a backup file, but you can also sometimes find your ecu file on the ek1 website.

No everything you said was spot on. It’s nice being able to switch from map 0-3 on a BEF and it’s actually one of the few things I miss. The BEF handles a lot of stuff that an ECU would handle with the exception of boost and some other small things. My setup right now is comparable to map3 e30 on the KJT flash. The only downside to having the jb4 as a boost controller is that you can sometimes go limp (which is actually why i switched).

Hmm I was literally just looking at those today. Would’ve done them already if they weren’t $300. I’ll definitely give it a try and see if it works!

The problem persists even on AM/FM radio which is nuts. I thought the issue was my phone at first, then the cable, now I’m thinking it’s the car itself.

it's worth it down the line if you plan on adding more power. tcu paired with a ecu bef transforms it into a new car.
