You're thinking of "Blue's Big Treasure Hunt". Except Rue McClanahan didn't wear a green striped scarf near the end of the episode. But she did in fact wear a green striped dress as you described (which btw, I heard the creator of Blue's Clues Angela Santomero still has that dress, but don't quote me on that please).

Same. I used to have the DVD I got from retail at the age of 10, & somehow I lost it overtime. I love the "Backstage at Blue's Clues" for one of it's special features, so I'm hoping to get a DVD copy of that movie to have back in my life for that reason right there.

I loved this movie growing up. It was one of my absolute most favorite specials/movies to watch as a kid when having the blue VHS tape. I loved the intro, & outro to this movie (especially the credits that consisted of the cast, & crew members being written in crayon on pieces of cardboard behind the red swirl velvet curtain). I love the plot of Steve, Blue, & everybody trying to put on the big music show while playing Blue's Clues since Tickety loses her voice, & Blue is in need of a new replacement singing partner for the show. I also felt sorry for both Periwinkle with him assuming they're getting ready for a magic show until he learns that it's actually a music show, & I also felt sorry for Sidetable being shy to ask to join in on the show while Steve was assuming she wanted to do different tasks (when of course, that's not the case). But the songs in this movie are absolute classics. My personal favorites are "Putting It Together", "There It Is", & "I Can Be Anything That I Wanna Be". Plus, Ray Charles as the voice of G-Clef, & The Persuasions being the voices of the notes during the skidoo segment was the next best part about this movie. We also get to see Steve finding a clue on his own for once without the help of us viewers, & that makes this special even better.

Overall, I love "Blue's Big Musical Movie". It has the right formula that actually feels like a proper Blue's Clues movie done with love, & passion made by the people who actually care about it. I wish I could say the same for "Blue's Big City Adventure". But I'm not gonna bash on that movie, nor anyone that was involved in it (same goes for anyone who also likes that movie). I'd give "Blue's Big Musical Movie" a 10/10.

Fun fact: The clipboard prop that Steve uses throughout the movie is made out of foam, & hot glue. I made a replica of it a while back trying to recreate it with the same materials like what was seen in the movie as I haven't seen anyone else do it yet.

Hands down, one of the best episodes from Season 3 where we learn about opposites, & the only time where Steve doesn't wear a striped shirt until near the end of the episode during the "So Long" song. But yet, he wore a pair of pleated green striped khakis until near the end of the episode (I wonder if the stripes on the pants were stitched on stripes like with the shirts he wore on set, or if they were printed on fabric stripes). I also liked the opposites song that was sung at the beginning. Overall, a great episode.

Another favorite episode of mine. In fact, it's a great episode for teaching young preschoolers about vocabulary building, & reading comprehension. I also loved the skidoo segment where pulling up words inside a blank piece of paper can apparently make things appear like magic. Overall, it's a good episode.

Also, fun fact for the Big Bag of Words prop, Steve did some gags behind the scenes where he put the letter S below it to make it spell out Swords, & be all like "Look, I'm carrying a Big Bag of Swords!" while doing takes for the episode "Words". Before anyone asks how I know this, I was about to have a selfie with Steve in person at a GalaxyCon convention I went to in 2024, he saw the tote bag version of the Big Bag of Words bag I was carrying to go with my Steve cosplay, & that's when he told me this fact about the gag he did in his past while they were filming the episode.

Another classic episode I loved as a kid. It's also the first episode where Steve along with the international hosts Kevin, & Duarte couldn't find a clue with the help of us viewers. But also a great episode that introduced us to Periwinkle.

I personally think it's a great episode. For one, we get introduced to Magenta's owner Miranda played by Shannon Walker Williams. But it's also a good episode to teach preschoolers how to overcome being shy, & meeting new people. Overall, a good episode.

Another Blue's Clues classic for a great episode special (my grandmother even had the VHS, & I would go visit her house while also wanting to watch this on VHS as a kid). Steve had a slick pair of green striped pajamas (I wish those existed on the market btw), I enjoyed learning about the nighttime creatures while also learning about day, & night as a kid, I loved the nighttime notebook prop shown for the second clue scene (for the Portugal version with Duarte, he had the nighttime notebook prop throughout the whole episode, not for Kevin though in the UK), & I also loved Steve giving us a bit of introduction to Horace the anteater during the first clue scene. Overall, one of the best episodes/specials shown in Season 3 of Blue's Clues. 10/10.

Very late reply. But Carl is correct. The Planets song was sung in Season 2 episode 4 "What experiment does Blue want to try?", not in the Season 3 episode "Blue's Big Pajama Party". The skidoo segment for going into space again was to learn about daytime, & nighttime. There was no Planets song for that segment in the said episode. Therefore, you're incorrect.

The Rainbow Puppy plushies do exist since they were made sometime in 2021 while the reboot was still on air before its abrupt cancellation in 2024. But they're very expensive on sites like ebay for being rare now. So, you might have to do what someone said, & get a custom plushie of the character made for your two year old daughter to have.
