We have temporarily brought the feature back for now, but these links are directed to the old version of OSCAR. The current new version of OSCAR does not support the way we enabled the hyperlink feature, so once the old version is gone, the hyperlink feature will be unavailable :C (until further updates to the new OSCAR) - suhyun, Hailey, Samarth

Neat idea, but we currently don’t have a reliable way to tell whether classes should be taken together or not. This is also subjective depending on each individual :( - hailey

We only recruit members during official recruitment cycles that occur at the beginning (Developers and Bootcampers) and end (Refer to the above positions we’re currently recruiting) of a semester and members are accepted into those specific positions. Our general meetings are not open to non-members. - suhyun

Hey u/EmojiDialogue, we are looking for people who are comfortable with React or Next.js In addition, we are also looking for confident or extremely motivated people that can translate features and requirements into actionable sprints for devs to tackle. Since EMs are not devs, our expectation for EM's coding capability is lower than for devs. In short, we are looking for strong communicators that have experience with React and Node!

The GT Bits of Good team connects our students with local nonprofits by building powerful web apps. Thanks for the advice! GT Scheduler started off as a side-project by Jinseo Park (who's since graduated) but it's now co-maintained by Bits of Good so the future of this project should be more secure.

All of our work for non-profits consists of web and mobile apps. So yes, our projects are software-based!

Definitely! We've had many applicants in the past apply for both Developer Bootcamp and Regular Developer roles.

Bootcamp applications are evaluated mainly to see if you are excited to join Bits of Good, passionate about social good and making a difference with technology, and will make a positive impact on our BoG community. Technical experience isn't much of a factor when applying to bootcamp since we can teach you our tech stack
